Voters believe Trump and Biden are physically fit to be president but not mentally fit to be president
Hmmm…This CNBC and Change Research poll here , where they talked to some 4100 likely voting folks from six battleground states (Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) and 1900 likely voting folks throughout the rest of the country, shows voters believe that Trump and Biden are physically fit to be president but not mentally fit to be president.
There are 57% of national voters, who are likely to vote, and 54% of voters in those 6 battleground states of Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin who all say that Biden has the legs and air in his lungs to be the president.
Trump got 51% of national voters, who are likely to vote, and 52% of likely voters in those six battleground states to say his feet, despite those bone spurs, are good enough to carry him through a second term.
Sounds good, doesn’t it? Two ol’ timers, one in his mid-seventies and the other knocking at eighty, got folks thinking they can run through the White House without having a heart attack.
Where folks think Trump and Biden will run into a lot of problems are their heads. According to the CNBC and Change Research poll, over a majority of national voters, who are likely to vote, and voters in those six battleground states think that the two ol’ timers aren’t right in their heads enough to run the country.
Trump got 55% of those likely national voters and 51% of those likely battleground state voters saying that he’s “mentally unfit” to run the country, while Biden managed to get 52% of those likely national voters and battleground state voters to say that he’s “mentally unfit” to be president.
To be honest with you, folks, neither Trump or Biden look like a perfect bill of health. Just look at Trump and Biden, there.
They both look like they need a doctor on call. It’s no telling when those two ol’ timers are going to fall out.
Now, I know that Biden likes to do pushups to prove that he’s fit, while Trump likes to have rallies in order to prove that he can stand on his feet longer than a minute. But folks, look at dat dere.
They ain’t gonna make it! No sir! Unh-unh. One can barely hold a glass of water, while the other looks like he can’t remember where he is.
What did Biden say?! “If you don’t like what you see, vote for the other Biden.” Let me tell you, folks, if your mental ain’t right then your physical ain’t right. The two go hand in hand. A person who says, “Science doesn’t know,” is no different than a man who forgets he’s first on the ticket. They both do and say crazy things that let folks know they aren’t right in the head.
Having said all of that, there’s good news for them both. Biden is leading in the national poll with 49% to Trump’s 45%. Over a majority, 55%, of likely voters like how Trump is working the stock market.
The voters also gave Trump and Biden good marks for the one they think will do a good job bringing the economy back from a recession. Trump got 50% of the vote and Biden got 50% of the vote.
Now, I’m aware that there are those of you who liken this to me getting a half a dollar and you getting a half a dollar. We all want the whole dollar because we can do more with it. But, this is politics and 50% is equal to a whole dollar in politics.
When 50% of folks say they trust you with their money, which is what trusting you to bring them out of a recession is, then you’re on your way to winning.
And you know you’re going to win when you take that 50% and place it next to the 55% of folks who trust you with their stocks. The one thing we all know is that there are more rich folks, than po’ folks, with stocks.
Therefore, when you got the po’ folks and the rich folks saying they trust you with their legal tender, then you know you’re going to win something...Well, I do have to backtrack a little bit because the fact remains this race is like two knock knees that are too close for comfort. Let’s take, for example, this whole thing with the money again. The economy is in the top three for the most important issue for Democrats and Republicans.
There are 67% of national voters, who’re likely to vote, saying that “the stock market is in excellent or good condition,” which is good news for Trump.
What is not good news for Trump, but good news for Biden, is that 40% of those same voters believe the job market and the economy are in tip top shape.
So yeah, this is gonna be a close one. And with all of the Cain being raised about the absentee ballots, we probably won’t find out who won until sometime after President’s Day 2021.
